Raising Up The Next Generation of Worship Leaders

About

An 11-week summer program for college-aged students who have a heart and a gift for worship leading. Our worship residents will spend the summer growing in their discipleship, bonding in community, receiving hands-on training in music and leadership, and leading worship for ministries in and out of the church. We consider singers and musicians alike to be worship leaders and would love for all to apply. We know that God has placed inside so many of you a gift of leading worship, and our desire is to be a home where you can grow in your love of Jesus, in your gifting, and in your service of His church, and that ultimately you can discern the calling that God has placed on your life.

When: May 28 - August 13, 2023 (plus for those who are able we will attend the Awakening Project in Kentucky May 21-27 https://awakeningprojectministry.org)

Where: The Woodlands Methodist Church, The Woodlands, TX. Host homes will be available for those who need them. We will take a trip to Nashville, TN where we will meet with music industry executives, record labels, artists, studio musicians, and songwriters. We will spend at least one week serving at summer camp in Texas, and we will end with a mission trip to Costa Rica.

Cost: The residency, trips, classes, books, lessons, and investment from so many great leaders are all covered at no charge to the residents. You will need money to cover food and gas, and any other activities.

College-aged students (high school graduates through age 22) who are gifted in leading worship, who sing and/or play an instrument, and are hungry to grow in their discipleship, their musical ability, and in their leadership as they serve the church.
