Grace and peace to you, friends.
I want to take a minute to share a brief update on our Forward in Faith campaign, and to ask for your help.
First the update: The traditional Lenten season of reflection and introspection is taking on special meaning this year. As we pray and fast in preparation for Holy Week, we are also finding ourselves in the final stages of our denominational affiliation discernment process — whether to join the Global Methodist Church or to join an independent network of large Methodist churches.
Our discernment leadership team has been studying our options through the lens of six categories: Mission, Theology, Operations, Community, Culture and Vision. Friends, I’m here to tell you our journey through the affiliation wilderness season is almost over! On the other side of our Easter Sunday celebrations, we are preparing to make a final recommendation and call for a member vote as part of Vision Night on Sunday, May 7 (more info coming soon).
And now the request for help, in the form of input from you. We have created two final opportunities for you to listen and give input for our leadership team to consider.
First, our final pair of Community Forums, coming up on March 25 and 26, will feature representatives from the Global Methodist Church and from independent Methodist networks. Both sessions will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Harvest Worship Center. Please use the link below to preregister to attend and to submit questions for our guest panelists.

Also, if you have four minutes to make a big impact in the life of our church, please click this link and complete our 10-question Spring Member Survey. Your insights and input are very important to me, so please take a moment to share your thoughts.

As always, I am grateful for your continued prayers, support and participation throughout the affiliation process. I am so encouraged by the energy and excitement building in this new season of ministry at The Woodlands Methodist Church. Each of you has an important role to play here, as we move forward in faith.
