The Bristol House Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative assistance to Bristol House. This role works in collaboration with central staff and in alignment with The Woodlands Methodist Church’s mission to reach people for Jesus Christ, disciple them in faith, and help those in need.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Attend weekly meetings and provide meeting notes & weekly agendas as needed
  • Implement album release schedules.
  • Implement marketing and media strategy campaigns by working with internal Creative Services, Social Media coordinator, and/or 3rd party vendors.
  • Oversee physical production of pressed albums/EPs.
  • Serve as liaison with any third-party publishing agreement.
  • Maintain contracts and legal obligations within album creation and distribution.
  • Implement all associated release administration which includes the following:
    • Generate ISRC Codes (International Standard Recording Code), metadata forms and UPC numbers.
    • Upload assets to distribution channels and video platforms.
    • Maintain split sheets.
  • Oversee BH website and request changes to creative services as needed.
  • Implement merch orders, organize, and sell as approved & needed.
  • Attend itinerant dates based on budget and need. This will be determined by Director of Contemporary Worship & Bristol House
  • Schedule and book travel needs for all BH events.
    • This includes guests, consultants, and all album partnerships.
  • Create a streamlined process for all travel needs i.e. Identification, frequent flyer miles, etc.
  • Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on releases and campaigns, including required reporting to TWMC’s Finance department.
  • Oversee Bristol House budget, including but not limited to detailed tracking of expenses and revenues for all activities, including cost-tracking per song.
  • Quarterly budget updates to Director of Contemporary Worship & Bristol House

The Facilities Technician will monitor the campus for building maintenance items, safety issues, prohibited or concerning behavior of persons throughout the campus, respond to emergency situations to minimize risk and / or loss to buildings, property, or persons. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide a safe environment for staff and visitors to The Woodlands Methodist Church
  • Monitors, maintains, and performs standard repairs to building electrical facilities and systems; assists licensed electricians with non-technical repairs as appropriate.
  • Monitors performance of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems for the facility; performs standard repair/replacement of components, as appropriate, and non-technical maintenance tasks such as cleaning of heating and cooling fan coil units and adjustment of system controls.
  • Monitors and performs non-technical maintenance of plumbing systems, to include standard repair of leaking fixtures, cleaning obstructed waste lines, installing water coolers, and/or performing non-technical modifications to plumbing and water supply systems; assists licensed plumbers, as appropriate.
  • May perform general maintenance, custodial, and trash removal tasks.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

This position will help create and coordinate new Recovery Ministry elements to be added over the course of the next two years culminating in the creation of a new coordinator role for Recovery Ministries. The Media Tech will work alongside their fellow techs to provide technical services to church ministry clients and guests. This position receives task requests and scheduling assignments from the Media Scheduling Manager. This position is integrated into a team where participation in all events and tasks will be expected as assigned, however, there will be heavy emphasis on audio support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work with the Scheduling Manager to support ministry events on church campuses.
  • Operate an audio console during services each week.
  • Transport and perform AVL system setup on a weekly basis.
  • Thoroughly check AVL systems for any needed maintenance or programming changes.
  • Personally perform basic maintenance needs such as troubleshooting audio/video signal flow. Follow industry safety standards in all situations such as working at heights and rigging of AVL gear.
  • Maintain equipment inventory in multiple locations that requires diligence in proper storage, purchasing, and communication of additional needs to your supervisor.
  • Perform duties that fall outside of the audio category such as running lighting or graphics for a worship service, building video screens, or assisting in a scenic construction project when requested.

    The Early Childhood Ministry Lead supports the development of a dynamic ministry for children ages three through kindergarten.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITHIN THE FOLLOWING MINISTRIES:

    • NextGen Kids – Assist the NextGen Kids staff on Sunday mornings in executing Sunday school lessons, crafts, and games. Interns are focused on making sure students ages 3 years old – 4th grade are nurtured and feel seen.
    • Recreation – Serve as a facility aid to keep our sports and fitness facility operations running smoothly, as a camp counselor making an impact on kids through sports camps and clinics, or as a referee or gameday assistant for our youth sports leagues.
    • Special Needs Ministry – Special Blessings interns serve as one-on-one buddies for children with a variety of special needs. Your job is to help make Sunday school a place where each child is included and thrives. This includes Sunday mornings and various special events throughout the year. Each buddy is given tools (“buddy bag,” schedule, headphones) to help the child be successful in Sunday school. Experience is not required, training available. Must have a teachable spirit and be flexible.

    Qualifications

    • A degree or 2+ years experience in Graphic Design, Video, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role with a strong emphasis on design.
    • Experience in photography and the ability to source and utilize authentic images.
    • A portfolio of work demonstrating creativity and effectiveness in social media content creation as well as other design projects.

    The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the lead pastor of The Church at Montgomery. This role works in collaboration with local and central TWMC staff and in alignment with The Woodlands Methodist Church’s mission to reach people for Jesus Christ, disciple them in faith, and help those in need.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Attend weekly staff meetings, and record and file minutes.
    • Order regular supplies and other items upon request.
    • Handle Sunday communication (Connect) cards and respond or notify appropriate staff.
    • Oversee CAM Events and Groups calendar, schedule and arrange meetings, including arranging media support, food service, FMX reservations, and event registrations.
    • Assist pastor and Vision volunteer leaders (Champions) with Vision-related scheduling and logistics needs at direction of the pastor.
    • Ensure that ROCK stays updated with accurate CAM people profiles, membership, events and groups information.
    • Monitor CAM’s social media and web presence and notify appropriate staff when updates are needed, or problems found.
    • Answer phone calls and emails.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Draft communications or routine reports.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    SCOPE

    Work with and supervise students participating in before and after school Eagle Club. Students will be engaging in art, recreation, games, playground activities and self-directed homework.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Be available for a shift from 7:15 - 8:30 a.m. and / or 3:00 - 5:45 p.m. on any/all days Monday – Friday. Days/schedules are flexible, but dependability is critical.
    • Help with arrival and dismissal to Eagle Club and ensure accurate student sign-in/sign-out records are maintained.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Developing plans for student care based on assessment, interventions, and identification of outcomes, and the evaluation of care
    • Cares for students with chronic illnesses developing a health care plan with the physician and parents. Communicates and coordinates the needs of the student with the teachers
    • Provide care for students with acute illnesses and injuries
    • Monitoring immunizations, managing communicable diseases, and assessing the school environment to prevent injury and ensure safety
    • Overseeing infection control measures
    • Actively participating in school safety plans that address school violence, bullying, and emergencies that may occur at school
    • Overseeing medication administration, health care procedures, and the development of healthcare plans
    • Making decisions related to the delegation of healthcare tasks as directed by state laws and professional practice guidance
    • Providing health advice to school educational teams, such as the Counselor and Developmental Specialist teams in developing plans and IP’s for students.
    • Assists in maintaining first aid kits for each classroom
    • First responder for life threatening emergencies.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree and current Texas Registered Nursing License
    • Minimum of two years of experience in Pediatric Health Care
    • Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification

    The Woodlands Methodist School is currently seeking candidates for substitute positions. The Woodlands Methodist School (TWMS) is a ministry of The Woodlands Methodist Church. Positions are available at the Elementary School as well as Middle School. Candidates should specify whether they would prefer to substitute at the Elementary School or Middle School. Substitutes help to provide the best possible learning environment for children while their teacher is not in the classroom. The experienced substitute will be knowledgeable about educational resources and dedicated to lifelong learning.
