We place a high value on strengthening the faith and relationships of our families, whether it's through a marriage retreat, a parenting class, or mentoring a young couple. Serve team members work alongside our staff to encourage, pray with, and share their own experiences with couples and families through our Marriage and Family Ministry opportunities.

Media

Reaching our community through technology is an exciting way to serve the church. Our media serve team assists our staff as camera operators for worship services and other events throughout the year. No experience is necessary to serve on this team, just a heart to share Jesus with others.

Next Gen 56/Confirmation

Confirmation, Intermediate

A ministry for 5th and 6th grade students to establish roots in the faith, grow in discipleship of Christ, and thrive in their community. Serve team members play a pivotal role in the 56/Confirmation ministry. Through their hospitality and shepherding of students at weekly gatherings and special events, serve team members provide a safe environment that leads students towards Jesus.

Our vision is to excellently engage children with biblically missional principles in a safe environment. Servants are the backbone of Children’s Ministry at The Woodlands Methodist Church.

Students

In Next Gen Student Ministry, we go deeper into what it means to be His followers. Along with Crowded House, our awesome Sunday morning worship, we have life-changing Bible studies for Jr. High, Senior High, and College students with amazing special events throughout the year. Prayer Team

The Woodlands Methodist Church Prayer Team ministry serves by intentionally praying for pastors, members, ministries, outreaches, and community. There are many different ways to serve as part of a prayer team and training is provided for each opportunity. Serve opportunities include weekend worship prayer teams, prayer shawl ministry, and more.

Special Needs

Special Needs

We are dedicated to supporting people with special needs and their families through ministry that brings the love of Jesus into their lives. Volunteers with our Special Needs Ministry are paired with our special needs members in our Special Blessings, Remix and Revive ministries to assist them on Sunday mornings and show them the love of Christ.

We are committed to providing an environment of worship that is inviting and comfortable to everyone from first time guests to longtime members. Our serve team members help in many ways including: greet at the doors, direct people to their seats, prepare and serve communion, and serve in seasonal services.
